All babysitters should be prepared in order to keep themselves, and the children they watch, safe. Our Babysitting course allows youth ages 11-15 to learn from certified Red Cross instructors.
Our instructors will teach you how to manage difficult behaviour, will provide important content on how to be a leader and a professional, and will give you an in-depth run down on necessary First Aid skills to make sure you are prepared for anything and everything.
First aid content covered: Check, Call, Care, Glove removal, Recovery position, Conscious choking, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Poison, Insect stings, Wound care, Head, Neck and Back injuries, Broken bones, Seizures
Course Details
- 7 hour classroom session
- Babysitting Course Manual Provided
- Babysitter Certificate Provided
- Pack a teddy bear or doll, water bottle, lunch (no nuts), and pen or pencil
